Don’t be outlandish but wearing a talking piece can be helpful. I wear my Scentsy Wickelss Candlepin at times, it gives my potential clients a talking point. A reason for them to come up and ask..what is Scentsy? That way I am not always going up to them.
When talking to a person, be engaging. Be fully focused and present on what they are saying. When I talk to someone and they are looking at their phones, looking down, or looking bored (which never happens, right?) I want to get up and not hear what they have to say.
